Vitaminthe - Indications for use

Can be used on both cats and dogs for worms that react to oxibendazole and niclosamide:

• Gastrointestinal nematodes (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Ankylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala).
• Tapeworms (Taenia spp, Dipylidium  caninum).

Vitaminthe - Composition

1 ml of Vitaminthe oral paste contains:

• 240 mg of niclosamide
• 30 mg of oxibendazole
• Excipients (QS 1 ml: sodium benzoate, sodium metabisulfite, dequalinium chloride).

Vitaminthe - Dosage

Dogs and cats: 0.5 ml of paste per kg orally in a single dose.

Vitaminthe dose/weight syringes make it much easier to calculate the required dosage:

• For a 10 ml syringe, each line is the equivalent of one treatment per 2 kg of live weight.
• For a 25 ml syringe, each line is the equivalent of one treatment per 10 kg of live weight.

Vitaminthe is administered orally, right into your pet's mouth, onto its tongue, or by mixing it into your pet's food.

Adult cats and dogs should be dewormed 3 to 4 times annually (as soon as worms are visible in your pet's stool).

Puppies should be dewormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age, and then once a month until the age of 6 months, then at 9 and 12 months.

Kittens should be dewormed at 3, 5, 7 and 9 weeks, and then monthly until the age of 6 months, and then at 9 and 12 months.

Vitaminthe - Treatment format

Vitaminthe is available in syringes of either 10 ml or 25 ml.

Each syringe contains the same product dosed in the same manner, except that each syringe allows you to either treat larger or smaller dogs (and is easier to administer, depending on the dog's weight).

• The 10 ml syringe allows you to treat a total weight of 20 kg, whether you are treating a dog or a cat (1 line per 2 kg)

• The 25 ml syringe allows you to treat dogs up to a total weight of 50 kg (1 line per 10 kg).
