The SureFlap DualScan Microchip Cat Flap is a high-end electronic cat door that only allows cats to enter whose microchip it recognises. Because if its double antenna, it also allows you to selectively programme which cats can exit via the SureFlap cat door.

The electronic SureFlap DualScan Microchip Cat Flap allows cats to enter and leave based on the microchip implanted under your cat's skin. The flap only opens for your cat, which means that stray cats will not be able to enter your home.
The SureFlap DualScan cat door is like the standard SureFlap Cat Flap, except that it has a double antenna that scans cats that both enter and exit via the cat door.
What does the double antenna do? This additional functionality is essential if you have 2 cats and you only want one to come and go as it pleases, whereas you do not want the other cat to go outside (the standard SureFlap cat door model cannot be programmed to only allow certain cats to exit the house).
SureFlap DualScan cat door - Features
- Memorises your cat's microchip
- Works with all microchips, typically having 9, 10 or 15 digits
- Easy to programme (a single button allows you to programme your cat's microchip in a few seconds)
- Quick to install in a door, a wall or a window
- Easy to install into openings of former cat doors
- Uses four AA batteries (in normal conditions, batteries will last up to one year). Batteries are not included - we recommend using high-quality batteries and recommend against using rechargeable batteries
- An indicator light warns you when it is time to change batteries
- You can programme up to 32 different microchips!
- No collar or tag is required, which means there is no risk of your cat losing the tag or getting caught on anything
- Cat flap can be manually locked
- Compatible with RFID tags (= a SureFlap radio frequency identification tag that can be used with animals that don't have a microchip implant); however, the tag is not included with the cat door
- Cat door dimensions (the narrowest part of the opening through which your cat enters): 142 mm (width) x 120 mm (height)
- Opening dimensions (size of opening required to install cat door): 165 mm (width) x 171 mm (height)
Adapting the SureFlap DualScan microchip cat door to your home
- To install in a window, a wall or an existing cat door opening, you will need a standard mounting adaptor
- To install in a wall, you may need a standard tunnel extender

Avec tous les chats du quartier, dont certains qui ont déjà voulu rentrer chez nous, la chatière est totalement adaptée! Les chats sont libres de sortir quand bon leur semble, sans risque de faire rentrer d'autres chats! Nous sommes très satisfait de notre achat, cela fait maintenant 8 mois que nous l'avons. Un de nos chat est un peu massif et a un peu de peine à s'y glisser, le second n'a aucun soucis.

solide - rapide à installer - système de qualité, trés simple à paramétrer RAS J'avais des soucis avec les chats des voisins qui s'introduisaient chez moi! j'avais qu'une peur c'est qu'en ayant une chatière électronique, les chats étranger essayent d'enfoncer la vitre de la chatière mais cu la solidité et le système de blocage, aucun soucis! mes chats se sont réappropriés leur territoire! rapide à installer, l'extension était parfaite dans mon cas car ma précédente chatière était plus grande. Un de mes chats a été surprise par le bruit du loquet mais en une journée, c'était fini! heureuse de mon achat!
