Example: for a puppy weighing 3 kg who will reach an average adult weight of 8 kg (in this example, the puppy hasn't reached 50% of its adult weight), the daily ration will be approximately 135 g of SPECIFIC CPD-S Puppy Small Breed. If the puppy weighs 6 kg (between 50 and 100% of its adult weight), it will need around 170 g of food every day.
During lactation, the mother’s energy needs depend on the number of puppies. The mother's energy needs are multiplied by 1.5, 2 or 3 (as compared to the usual needs of an adult dog) if she is feeding 2, 4 or 8 puppies, respectively.
Daily individual energy needs can vary depending on various factors (breed, environment, season, activity, etc.). Therefore, it is recommended that you regularly check the weight and body condition of your bitch or puppy, so that you can adapt the food portion if necessary.
