• Seven new formulae that combine a single source of animal protein (venison, egg, lamb, duck or salmon) with a single source of carbohydrates and vegetable protein (potatoes or rice).
• In order to increase palatability, kibbles are coated with hydrolysed chicken. To avoid any allergic reaction, this hydrolysate has a mean molecular weight below 6,000 Daltons and does not contain intact proteins.
• It can be fed to dogs with chronic external otitis, interdigital or perianal (these can be symptoms of adverse food reaction) or atopy.
• It can also be fed to dogs with non-allergenic skin conditions and will provide the dog with essential nutrients. Highly purified fish oil (so that all residual proteins have been removed) was added as a source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
• In case of acute pancreatitis, you should feed your pet with d/d Canine dry food only once the initial fasting period (in which all food or liquid intake is forbidden) is over.
