Cosequin Cat - Joint supplements

Cosequin Cat contains chondroitin and glucosamine which are very helpful for ageing cats suffer from joint issues. Chondroitin slows down the cartilage deterioration and glucosamine acts synergistically with the chondroitin to promote the development of new cartilage.

Unlike many other food supplements for the joints, Cosequin Cat comes in powder form (contained in small capsules) that can be added to your cat's food. Cosequin Cat has no taste or smell, making it easy to administer.

Ingredients - Cosequin Cat

Cosequin Cat contains two active ingredients:

• Glucosamine hydrochloride promotes the secretion of GAGs (Glycosaminoglycans) produced from glucose.
• Chondroitin sulphate is a component of the joints.

Dosage - Cosequin Cat

Initial programme: For 4-6 weeks

For fast results, it is recommended that a double dose of Cosequin Cat be administered over an initial period of 4 to 6 weeks.

• Cats weighing less than 5 kg: 1 capsule daily
• Cats weighing more than 5 kg: 2 capsules daily

Maintenance programme

After the initial period, you can reduce the dose to a maintenance dose: the treatment will be given only once every two days.
