Why use a special cat-pill dispenser with a soft tip?

Unlike a conventional pill popper, a special cat-pill-popper has a soft tip. This tip has the advantage of being non-traumatic, so there's no risk of hurting the cat by injuring the inside of its oral cavity or damaging the palate. 

Advice on using the Special Cat Buster Pill Launcher with soft safety tip

Technique #1:
1. Place the tablet in the holder at the end of the pill dispenser. 
2. Insert the pill dispenser into the cat's mouth and press the plunger. The tablet is then automatically swallowed by the cat.

Technique #2:
1. Draw water into the tube
2. Place the tablet in the holder
3. Insert the pill dispenser into the cat's mouth and, by pressing the plunger, the tablet is automatically swallowed by the cat.
